About SEOGrowPilot
SEOGrowPilot exists because the reports were the wrong shape. Rankings went up, traffic went up, and nobody in the room could say what either was worth. So the product was built backwards from the only question that was ever really being asked: what should I change, what is it worth, and was the last thing you told me right?
Who builds it
Andy Hughes — Founder, SEOGrowPilot. Builds revenue software for small businesses and the agencies that serve them. SEOGrowPilot came out of running the same manual analysis across a dozen of his own websites and deciding it should be a machine's job.
That origin shows up in the product. It was designed for someone running a dozen sites with no time to log into a dashboard, which is why it is built to act rather than to be read, and why every action it takes is reversible and recorded.
What it refuses to do
The interesting part of a product like this is not the feature list — everybody has one — but the list of things it will not do, because each entry costs a demo and buys back the ability to be believed.
It does not invent a number it cannot defend
A finding that cannot be honestly priced is recorded at zero and ranked on opportunity instead. Everything else in the product would be easier if we guessed, and every guess would eventually be checked by someone.
It does not report AI visibility it cannot see
Google's AI Overview arrives on a results page we already fetch, so it can be measured. ChatGPT, Copilot, Perplexity and Gemini are personalised and session-bound, so the product reports readiness for those and no figure at all. A number there would be fiction with a chart around it.
It does not write to a page it could not read
A connector that can write but not read is refused, because there is nothing to snapshot and therefore no rollback. A change you cannot undo is worse than a change never made.
It does not rewrite your prose on its own
Internal links, page rewrites and navigation changes are proposed with the exact change spelled out, and a person makes them. The failure mode of automating those is a site that is confidently wrong about your own business.
This site is the first customer
Everything the platform does to a customer's website it does to this one: crawled on a schedule, findings priced, changes proposed, snapshots taken, forecasts checked against what actually happened. Nobody should trust a piece of search software whose own company cannot be found.
